Kananwas Resort

Situated on a steep, wooded site, Kananwas Resort is designed to blend seamlessly with its natural surroundings. The project includes 34 rooms within 17 cottages, carefully placed to preserve existing trees and integrate with the terrain. Local black stone cladding was used to complement the site’s rustic character, while materials were sourced regionally to align with the context. The design features an infinity pool, natural walkways, and a small party lawn, with a preserved stream and rock waterfall enhancing the landscape’s connection to its natural environment.
